Emma Donovan / Peas-in-a-Pod

Emma Donovan is an East Sussex based artist and illustrator whose art is inspired by the wildlife on her doorstep and nearby coastline resulting in watercolour and pen & ink mixed media art practice that focuses on her love of wildlife, botanicals, beachcombing and collecting miniature treasures. Emma’s series of ‘Beachcombed Miniatures’feature hand painted miniature wildlife portraits painstakingly hand painted on the smallest of shell fragments found along her beloved coastline.

Alongside her art practice, Emma established Peas-in-a-Pod Gifts + Greetings in 2011. A riot of cheeky illustrations, colourful design and quirky gifts to make people smile which are inspired by her love of colour, British humour and passion for storytelling.
